Nanobrows in Chicago– Our Most Advanced and Gentlest Brow Technique
Experience hyper-realistic brows with minimal invasiveness, reduced downtime, and results that last up to 24 months.
Redefine Natural with Nanobrows in Chicago
Nanobrows are the next generation of cosmetic tattoo brow artistry– designed for clients who want detail, softness, and longevity without the heavier healing or saturation often associated with older techniques. This method allows for more flexibility in shaping, better pigment retention over time, and a finish that reads as natural in both makeup-free and full-makeup settings.
At Evertrue Salon, the approach is structured and deliberate. Every brow is mapped to your facial proportions, muscle movement, and natural growth pattern so the result looks consistent from every angle—not just in photos.
The Nano Technique– Modern Precision for Chicago Brows
When it comes to Nanobrows in Chicago, clients trust Evertrue for the most advanced approach. Unlike manual Microblading, our machine-based Nanobrows process implants pigment with controlled digital motion. This minimizes skin trauma and creates crisp, natural-looking strokes that heal beautifully. The result is a soft, refined finish that lasts longer and fades more evenly than traditional methods.

Why Evertrue Salon is Chicago’s go-to for Nanobrows
Evertrue Salon is one of the few studios in Chicago—and across the Midwest—to offer Nanobrows as a dedicated, specialized service. While many providers still rely on traditional microblading techniques, our artists are extensively trained in this more advanced method and have deep experience working with a wide range of skin types, brow conditions, and aesthetic goals. That level of focus matters. Nanobrows require a more controlled, technical approach to achieve realistic results that heal cleanly over time. It’s not simply a variation of microblading, but rather a distinct skill set, and one we’ve developed through consistent, high-level practice.
At Evertrue Salon, every Nanobrow treatment is performed by highly-trained artists using medical-grade tools and top-tier pigments. Our expertise ensures:
- Hyperrealistic results tailored to your natural growth pattern and skin tone
- Cutting-edge digital machines that deliver smooth, precise strokes
- Premium vegan pigments for color stability and longevity
- Safe, sterile environments that meets Chicago’s highest standards
- Personalized brow drawing for symmetry and balance that flatter your features
What To Expect From the Nanobrows Service
Each appointment begins with a detailed consultation. This is where brow shape, thickness, and overall style direction are established. Your artist will walk through what is achievable based on your current brows, skin type, and long-term goals.
Rather than rushing into treatment, the focus is on alignment—ensuring the design feels balanced and wearable before any pigment is placed.
Once the shape is approved, the service progresses in stages. A numbing cream is applied, so there is virtually no pain or discomfort. Pigment selection is customized to your skin tone and undertone, and strokes are placed gradually to build dimension without oversaturation.
The process is methodical. Strokes are layered intentionally so the result heals soft and diffused rather than sharp or heavy. Throughout the appointment, adjustments are made to maintain symmetry and ensure the brows sit naturally with your expressions.
Who Nanobrows May Be Best Suited For
Nanobrows are ideal if you want:
- A natural, hair-like finish without a “filled-in” look
- More structure and definition in sparse or uneven brows
- A polished appearance that still looks like your own brows
This technique works particularly well for clients who want subtle refinement rather than a bold or powder-heavy effect.
Nanobrows are especially good for clients with sensitive skin or specific skin conditions (e.g. oily, porous, thin).
Skin type, previous cosmetic tattoo brow work, and overall brow condition all influence results. Some clients may require a more tailored approach or additional consultation before proceeding.
If you have previous permanent makeup, significant scarring in the brow area, or very oily or sensitive skin, a consultation is important to determine the best plan. This ensures realistic expectations and avoids unnecessary correction work later.
Healing, Results, and Maintenance Expectations
Nanobrows typically heal more gently than traditional microblading. Brows will appear slightly darker immediately after the appointment, then soften as the skin heals. Flaking is minimal, and the overall healing process tends to feel less disruptive.
Over the following weeks, the color settles into a softer, more natural tone that integrates with your existing brow hair.
Unlike microblading, Nanobrows do not always require a routine perfecting session. Many clients achieve their desired result in a single appointment, depending on skin response and goals. Results also typically last longer than Microblading: up to 24 months.
Some clients may choose a follow-up to refine density or adjust tone, but this is evaluated case by case rather than assumed. Long-term maintenance is typically less frequent, with results that age more evenly over time.
Nanobrows vs. Microblading– Which is Right for You?
Nanobrows and Microblading share the same goal– creating beautiful, natural-looking brows– but the methods differ. Nanobrows are performed with a digital machine using an ultra-fine needle, while Microblading uses a manual handheld blade.
Because Nanobrows uses very fine needles, the pigment can be applied more precisely, for brow strokes that heal with crisper results. Results also last longer than Microblading.
The use of an electronic tool with very fine needles also means minimal skin invasiveness:
- Minimal bleeding
- Virtually no discomfort
- Reduced downtime: a few days of darker brows and little scabbing
Nanobrows is a gentle brow technique that is an especially effective option for clients with sensitive skin or special skin needs (e.g. oily, porous, thin/ mature).
Nanobrows Chicago clients often switch from microblading for longer-lasting, natural results.
If you’re unsure which technique fits your skin type or aesthetic preference, come in to our salon for a free consultation. We will also draw on both brows with a brow pencil so you can see exactly what the results will look like.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below are our most common questions from nano brows NYC clients from pigment type to healing time.
How soon will I see results?
Results are immediate, but the healing process takes 6-8 weeks for the full outcome.
Is Nanobrows process painful?
We use medical-grade numbing cream, and most clients report minimal discomfort.
How long does Nanobrows last?
Results typically last 9-24 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Is Nanobrows safe?
All our pigments are cosmetic grade, meaning they are sterilized and purified for cosmetic use. Our specialists are highly trained and experienced professionals.
Is Nanobrows better than Microblading?
Both Nanobrows and Microblading create very realistic brow results. Because Nanobrows uses an electronic tool with very fine needles, the pigment can be applied more precisely, for brow strokes that heal with crisper results. Results also last longer than Microblading
Are your nanobrow pigments vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely. Our nanobrow pigments are fully vegan, ethically sourced, and never tested on animals.
What’s the difference between nanobrow pigments and microblading pigments?
Nanobrow pigments are slightly thinner and designed to work with machine shading for a softer, more pixelated result. Both are made with safe, non-toxic, vegan ingredients.
How long do your nanobrow pigments last in the skin?
They are typically visible for up to 24 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Fading is gentle and natural, with touch-ups recommended for maintenance. Please note that there may be vestigial pigment left in the skin even after fading, although this is often not visible.
Are nanobrow pigments safe for people with rosacea or eczema?
Generally, yes — but we’ll evaluate your skin in-person to be sure. We prioritize your skin health and will only proceed if it’s safe for you.
Can the pigment color be customized for my skin tone?
Yes! We offer a wide range of shades and custom blends to ensure a natural match for your undertones and brow goals.
Are your correction pigments also vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Even for correction and color-neutralization work, we use only vegan, cruelty-free pigments that meet our safety and ethical standards.
What kinds of pigment issues can be corrected?
We can neutralize old or discolored pigments (blue, red, gray, or green), reshape uneven brows, or restore faded brows using expert color theory and precision techniques.
Do correction pigments contain titanium dioxide?
Some neutralizing pigments may contain a small amount of titanium dioxide for lightening or opacity, but we always choose the safest, most stable formulas available.
Is it safe to layer new pigments over old ones?
Yes — with proper technique. We assess the existing pigment’s saturation, depth, and undertone to safely layer new pigment or recommend lightening first if needed.
Can I correct work done at another salon?
Yes. We specialize in corrective brow work and will evaluate your brows during your consultation to develop a personalized plan — no judgment, just expert care.
Other Considerations
Anti-wrinkle injections
Should be done AFTER Microblading or Nanobrows. You can do anti-wrinkle injections immediately after your Microblading session. Your doctor will be able to determine where to place anti-wrinkle injections injections without altering your brow position. Should you decide to cease anti-wrinkle injections treatments, brows will settle at original balanced position. If you had anti-wrinkle injections done, please wait at least two weeks before doing Microblading to allow your anti-wrinkle injections to settle.
Other Cosmetic Treatments
Please wait two weeks if you have had these or other similar cosmetic treatments done: PRF, Hydrofacials, Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Forma (on face), Sculptra, Villiers.
MRIs
Some of our pigments contain iron oxide. These are in very minuscule quantities that should not interfere with MRIs. Please consult your doctor should you require more information.
Pregnancy/ Breastfeeding
We do not recommend doing any cosmetic tattooing if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Should you still desire to continue with treatment, please consult your doctor prior to the appointment. We will also require an additional liability waiver.
Under 18 years old
We do not perform any treatments on anyone under the age of 18.
