Many of our clients at Evertrue are not just booking one treatment. They are often combining Botox, dermal fillers, nanobrows or microblading, and skin treatments like microneedling or chemical peels as part of a long-term aesthetic plan.
A common question we hear during consultations is: What order should I do everything in?
The sequence matters more than most people realize. Each treatment affects skin structure, swelling, healing, and facial balance in different ways. When treatments are done in the wrong order, results can look slightly off—or require unnecessary touch-ups.
After working with thousands of brow clients, we’ve developed a practical framework that keeps results looking natural and predictable.
Why Treatment Order Matters
Each category of treatment works differently:
-
Botox relaxes muscles and can subtly lift or reposition the brows.
-
Dermal fillers restore volume and can change facial proportions.
-
Nanobrows or microblading create the shape and density of the brows using cosmetic tattoo.
-
Skin treatments such as microneedling, laser resurfacing, or chemical peels stimulate collagen and exfoliate the skin.
Because these treatments affect the face at different structural levels, doing them in the right sequence helps artists and providers design the most balanced results.
For brow tattooing in particular, facial movement and skin condition play a large role in the final design.
The Ideal Order for Most Clients
For most people combining multiple aesthetic treatments, we typically recommend the following sequence.
1. Start with Nanobrows or Microblading
At Evertrue, we usually recommend completing nanobrows or microblading first when planning a larger aesthetic refresh.
The reason is simple: brow design should reflect your natural facial movement and bone structure. If Botox is done first, muscle relaxation can temporarily change brow position. Designing brows during that phase can lead to a shape that looks slightly different once the Botox wears off.
Completing brow tattooing first allows us to design the brows around your true resting brow position.
Another benefit is timing. After nanobrows or microblading, Botox can be done immediately after your appointment if desired.
If Botox is done beforehand, we recommend scheduling it about two weeks before brow tattooing so the muscle movement has stabilized.
2. Add Botox for Brow Balance
Once the brows are designed, Botox can help refine the overall look.
Small adjustments around the glabella or forehead can subtly enhance the brow shape created with nanobrows or microblading. Many clients find that Botox and brow tattooing complement each other well.
Botox is especially helpful for:
-
Softening frown lines between the brows
-
Creating a subtle brow lift
-
Reducing forehead creasing that can interrupt brow symmetry
Because Botox settles within about 10–14 days, it is easy to integrate into a brow maintenance routine.
3. Schedule Dermal Fillers Next
Dermal fillers affect facial balance more than most people expect. Volume in the cheeks, temples, or under-eyes can subtly change how the brows frame the face.
For example, cheek filler can restore mid-face support, which may make the brow area appear slightly lifted. Jawline or temple filler can also influence overall proportions.
For this reason, filler is typically best done after brow design, not before.
Once swelling resolves, the brows and the surrounding facial structure tend to look more harmonious.
4. Plan Skin Treatments Around Healing Windows
Skin treatments require the most careful timing with brow tattooing.
Procedures such as chemical peels, microneedling, RF microneedling, and laser resurfacing can accelerate skin turnover. When performed too soon after microblading or nanobrows, they may affect pigment retention.
We usually recommend waiting 4–6 weeks after brow tattooing before undergoing aggressive resurfacing treatments near the brow area.
However, many skin treatments can safely continue on the rest of the face as long as the brow area is avoided.
A Simple Yearly Aesthetic Schedule
For clients who maintain several treatments throughout the year, a structured schedule helps results stay consistent.
A common rhythm looks like this:
Every 12–18 months
-
Nanobrows or microblading refresh
Every 3–4 months
-
Botox maintenance
Every 9–12 months
-
Dermal filler adjustments (if needed)
Throughout the year
-
Microneedling, facials, or light chemical peels spaced between brow appointments
Spacing treatments this way prevents overlap in healing and helps each procedure perform at its best.
The Real Goal: A Natural, Balanced Result
The best aesthetic plans do not rely on a single treatment. Instead, they combine several subtle improvements that work together.
Brows frame the face. Botox refines movement. Fillers restore structure. Skin treatments improve texture and tone.
When these treatments are scheduled thoughtfully, the results look effortless—never overdone.
At Evertrue, we routinely coordinate with dermatologists and aesthetic providers so clients can plan their treatments without compromising their brow results.
Final Advice From Experienced Brow Artists
If you are planning multiple cosmetic procedures, timing matters. Even small details—like whether you get Botox two weeks before or two weeks after microblading—can affect how the final result settles.
When in doubt, discuss your full treatment plan during your brow consultation. An experienced artist can help you build a schedule that protects pigment retention and keeps the overall look balanced.
Well-planned treatments age better, require fewer corrections, and simply look more natural.
