Our Mission

Our mission is to create the most natural-looking aesthetic and restorative tattoos, specializing in Microblading & Nanobrows. We seek to authentically enhance, but always remain true to you.

A bright, modern spa room at Evertrue Salon features several treatment beds, lush plants, large windows with pink curtains, and neatly arranged beauty equipment.

Our Vision

To be the most trusted destination for natural, timeless beauty, where every client leaves feeling confident, seen, and authentically themselves. We envision a world where aesthetic and restorative tattoos gently enhance what is already there, honoring each person’s unique features and story, one stroke at a time.

Our Growth at Evertrue Salon

A group of fifteen people, mostly women, wearing white tops and black pants, pose together in a well-lit clinic or about Evertrue Salon setting with treatment beds in the background.

Founded in 2015 by Ramon Padilla, together with Master Microblading therapist Michelle Wu, we have grown from a single-station NYC salon to ten artists (and growing!) between our NYC & Chicago locations. We’ve become a go-to destination for Microblading and other cosmetic tattoos, and have had over 50,000 brow appointments in the past ten years.

Innovation and improvement drive us forward, and our goal for the future is to bring Microblading-level brow results out of our salons and directly to homes across the world.

Celebrating a Decade of Beauty

We are celebrating our 10th year anniversary this year (2025)! We are so thankful for the continued support over the years!

Ramon Padilla

Founder & Creative Director

Before launching Evertrue in 2015, Ramon spent years in the beauty industry, working in executive roles with global powerhouses L’Oreal USA and Procter & Gamble Beauty. In 2010, he opened and co-owned the New York City outposts of Singapore-based beauty service brands Strip: Ministry of Waxing & Browhaus, deepening his appreciation of the level of innovation that comes from Asian brands.

Ramon has been featured in publications such as Wall Street Journal, Women’s Wear Daily, GQ, New York Magazine, and others. His new goal is to bring the level of Microblading quality results to the door of every household in the USA. Ramon lives in Manhattan with the salon mascot, Beefsteak Padilla.

Michelle Wu

Master Therapist & Training Director

Before becoming an esthetician, Michelle was a diamond cutter — which explains her eye for detail, steady hand, and love of shiny things. Michelle has over 15 years of experience in cosmetic tattoos, especially Microblading and Nanobrows. She has been featured in publications such as Allure, Elle, Refinery29, and Daily Mail (UK).

As Evertrue’s Training Director, Michelle has trained and nurtured our entire team of artists. We have always hired people with no previous cosmetic tattoo experience, and Michelle has brought out their skill and artistry over the course of days, weeks, and years. She travels regularly to Japan, Korea, and China to further hone her eye and appreciation of beauty in all its forms. Michelle lives in Long Island with her husband Ryan and son Ryan, Jr.
